Hi people of EventOn!

I want to request a improvement of the plugin concerning the load time of the CSS file.

Please see the attachment of this ticket.
When I check the load times for all the files which are needed for my website, the 'evo_dynamic_css' file takes the longest time to load (1.31 sec) while it is only 1.2kb.
admin-ajax.php?action=evo_dynamic_css&ver=3.8

When I open the file I see a small bit of css, which corresponds to the setting I did at:
MyEventon > Appearance in the WP-admin.

1.3 seconds is a very long time for such a small piece of css, so it has to do something with the way the css file it is created.

Is it possible to make it a static css file, instead of a dynamic file?

I would be ever so grateful :)

Cheers, Robert

Robert,

Thank you for your message. If this dynamic style file is set as static it would not be able to have dynamic styles in it.
There really isnt a huge PHP functions in this file and its just getting options to check dynamic values. So this shouldnt cause a huge delay in the site. And I would say whatever the delay you would experience with load time to this file is positively correlated to your web host load time.

BTW what is the link to your site with eventON?

Couldn't you output a static css file every time you click save on the appearance panel? Which updates when you click save again?

Robert,

Thank you for the suggestion and that is actually what I am going to do in the next update and I have already build this out on test server and running tests should be able to get this live next beginning next week.
