Got some help via live chat today. In case anyone else ever has a similar problem, it looks like for whatever reason placing Full Cal in the first tab will make it show properly. Originally I had the list view in the first tab, and Full Cal view in the second tab, so I just swapped them around for a quick fix. A more thorough fix would probably involve wrapping the full cal in a div with some custom css to set the width.
