I have had the myEventON widget working properly for a while and when we added events for 2014 the arrows on the widget stopped being clickable both backward and forward.  So we can only see upcoming events for December and nothing else. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks.

I'm also having this problem. The upcoming events in December don't open when clicked as well.

Thanks for your help!

Also having this issue. When I click on the events (if I put a test one in January), the event doesn't open. The sort button also refuses to acknowledge a click. I read in the documentation that bad javascript on your site can cause problems like this, but I don't believe I have any javascript errors. Here is the site I'm working on: http://wptest4.syrasoft.com (Events are at the bottom of the page).

Thanks!

Patrick,

SO it seems you dont have eventon_script.js script loaded in this page which controls all the interactions. Do you have wp_foot() in the PHP page template in the footer that allow appending of scripts to this page? and also do you have any other eventON addons running?

I'm not sure how to check what you are asking. The theme does have a custom JS area where I can input my own custom JS for the site. Any reason why the eventon_script.js script wouldn't have loaded?

Thanks!

Patrick,

I am not sure why eventon_script.js is not getting appended to your web page. You can try to manually append this to your site footer and see if that would work. In order to do so paste the below code into your footer before </body>

<script src='<?php echo AJDE_EVCAL_URL;?>/assets/js/eventon_script.js'></script>

Would re-installing the plugin have any effect?

I tried appending eventon_script.js to the footer in my theme, but it doesn't seem to be working. I also tried re-installing the plugin version 2.2.2 which had no effect. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Any tips on getting it to work on a sidebar?

Did you try putting that code in footer.php file? -- and doing that should also help sidebar as well.

I did try putting the code in the footer.php file and it did nothing. Any other suggestions?

I tried putting the code in too and it didn't work either.  I also noticed that in the widget if I check "Show upcoming events" the entire widget disappears except for the title.

You need to add it into the direct footer.php file -- into the php file.

Would the footer.php file be the one in my theme folder on my FTP? That's the one I added it to and it did not work.

Thanks,

Patrick
