show specific event types in list

Hi,

the filtering for specific event types only seems to work with normal calendar view.
But I need this filtering for a simple event list.

Problem is, I need a listing of next 5 events. Not the whole next two months. If I choose to show only one month, it will display nothing at the end of the month.
So a list view with filtering function is essential. Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks for your message. I understand the need for a sortable upcoming list and the good news is I am working on an addon that will give you more options to create upcoming lists. So I greatly appreciate you patience while I work on this and have it ready hopfully mid- february.
