Event does not display/ year is off

Hi,

I was having a few issues with EventOn and would like to receive assistance please.

I recently tried testing the "add event" feature, but for some reason, even after clicking submit, I do not see the event published (and yes, I marked the action roles to have permission to publish events).

Also, when entering the date,it tends to go from year to date then month. Is there a way that I can change this please?

Sorry if I wasn't too clear...My issue is that for some reason, after I set up an event using the "add events" button, the event doesn't show up on my calendar.

The only way it shows up is if I handle it from the backend (but even that doesn't seem to work all the time).

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hmm make sure you have set dates correct and make sure you have not selected to hide past events from myeventon settings or hide calendar.

I had people selected to hide past events and they created a past event and asking me why it doesnt show up on the calendar. So please make sure you have not set wrong settings in myeventon settings.

I changed the date situation (so that's okay), but everything else was/is set to the proper settings, so I'm not sure what happened.

I even noticed that the URL went to a different Events page, but even when I used the URL where the events added from the front went to, nothing happened.

Can I email you my information so that you can take a look please?

Also, before I updated my plugins, everything worked fine, so I think that may have something to do with it?

Hi Ashan,

So not sure why, but I logged in this morning before sending you the email, and all of my test events came up on my events page.

I tried another test event and it hasn't shown up yet so I was wondering... how long should I wait before seeing them appear?

(maybe that's the problem?)

And just so that you know... It works instantly when events are published from the backend

SO the events work fine now? or the new event still are not showing on your site? Events are saved in UCT 0 time zone and retrieved in UTC 0 timezone as well. So the timezone should not cause this. However what is the timezone you are located and what is it set in wp settings?
