Daily view - cannot set fixed_day is ignored

I am using the following code to generate a DV calendar:

[add_eventon_dv fixed_day="24" fixed_month="2" fixed_year="2014" ]

But the result does not jump to the fixed date (Feb 24, 2014)

Also, the dates that have events are not hi lighted (Feb 24+25)
