Sticky Event shortcode not working in widget

I emailed you directly, Ashan, but I'm putting it in the forum in case this is an issue for anyone else:

I’m adding the sticky event shortcode to my widget code so it appears as follows:

[add_eventon cal_id="1" event_count="1" month_incre="+1" ft_event_priority="yes"]

However, the featured event is not showing above the next event in the widget. It also does not work when I remove the "month_incre" from the code.

Am I missing something I need for this to work correctly?

how are you adding the shortcode to widget? And yes sorry I try to answer questions in the forum before emails.
