I have myEventOn installed and updated to the latest version 2.2.4. I have bought the Full Cal Addon - which is also up to the latest version 0.4 and have installed it. Currently when I add the shortcode [add eventon_fc] - nothing happens - the shortcode text just appears on the page.

Here is a link to my site:

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey Kevin,

Does our theme allow shortcode usage?

I looked at your site and I do in fact see the site using the correct short code "[add_eventon_fc]".

Also, just for testing sake, did you try to paste the shortcode into the "text" mode tab of the editor?

Let me know, you also must make sure that you have actually activate the Full Calendar Addon before you use it.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Yes my theme allows shortcode usage. I'm currently  running the normal eventOn calendar on my site with the shortcode "[add_eventon]".

Only the Full Cal shortcode isn't working. I made sure I was working in the text mode tab of the editor - still not working.

As for actually activating the addOn - was there a specific way to do this? I could not find any documentation on your site for installing addOns.

These are the steps I took when I tried to install the addOn:

Via FTP went into the wp-content folder - went to the addons folder within the EventOn plugin and installed it.

Currently when I access the EventOn settings tab from the wp Dashboard and check the addons tab, it says I have Full Cal installed. However nothing loads when I try to click the guide.

Did I install the addOn correctly? How do I make sure the addOn is activated?

Thanks for you help!!

If you go to "plugins" page, do you see an activate option for that spevific addon?

No, I do not see this option available.

******SOLVED******

Turns out I did not install the Add On properly. You have to install the addon as it's own separate plugin.

Thanks again Mike!

I have installed both the Action user and the Full Cal addin i just purchased as seperate plugins. However, i'm getting a message that EventON Action User is enabled but not effective. It requires EventON in order to work. EventON is very much installed and active (version 2.2.9). What could be the issue?
