Events not opening on mobile device (iPhone or Android Chrome or Dolphin browser

Hi

I am listing the following events in an accordion or tab type box on my site [add_eventon cal_id="1" event_count="4" event_type_2="74"], but when it is clicked/pressed on a mobile browser, it doesn't open up like I expect it to and like it does on the PC. Any ideas?

Your site simply doesnt load for me in iPhone its loadin any nothing happen. Might have something to do with your site/theme. So probably want to look into that first.

I'm not sure what you mean, it works fine for me on iphone, ipad and android. eventOn events dont open up though on the front page..

are you getting an error msg?

The website displays fine for me, what phone are you using? What error message are you seeing?

Hey Michael, so I checked your site with 4S. I just checked it again and seems like the events are sliding down now?

I think you caught it exactly at the time I was playing around with a different theme. The theme I am using (Salient) is still not working with it.. How can I work out what' going wrong??

Michael, it seems like the issue is caused when eventON is placed inside the date accordion and i think the theme javascripts might be interfering with the behavior. If the other theme was able to solve the issue it def has to be an issue caused by that theme.

Thanks for responding. I've done some investigation and it seems that indeed my theme was breaking something. I've now changed themes to Enfold and everything seems to be working much better. I, however, have another issue where the events are not correctly displaying in Dolphin browser on Android.

What's happening is I have a tab for each day (Mon-Sun) and each tab is displaying events just for that day of the week, based on category of my events. I am finding that the events in the first OPEN tab when the page loads show up correctly, but subsequent tabs when opened do not show events. Everything works fine on PC/Mac, but on Android Dolphin browser that is the behaviour. I have not yet tested iPhone/iPad.

This page works fine on iPhone and I dont have dolphine browser to test. -- sorry. From the description you are saying it seems like the tab switching is causing errors on javascript functionality. What you can do is for mobile version using responsive CSS get rid of tabs and have days list one after the other.

I am really sorry at this moment I can not provide individual CSS support per need as I am running several updates to eventON and its addons.

As for tabs, you know I dont know what it is going on your site because without the tabs it works just fine. So if there isnt anything else it has to be tabs thats causing the issue. I am really sorry that I cant provide you a better solution.
