Dear all
We had the opportunity to listen and discuss really good updates and findings yesterday. Was very happy and delighted. Look forward to more exciting adventure ahead.

Some highlights:
1. Prof Bradley presented on TL of our fibers for Ra 223. Followed by some updates from the beam center on ionoluminescence of various doped fibers. We can now see the light!!

2. Dr Ghafour talked about TL repeatability performance  of our fibers in relation to annealing process. Is 400 degrees C optimized for our fibers?

3. Mizan and Zubair updated on OSL and RL of various fibers from Ge doped, Al, P and TLD500 (Al2O3:C). We see some memory effects in the RL with material good for OSL. This suggests to us what would be good for either RL or OSL. There is also indication that we may need to go higher concentration to measure the OSL from our fibers.

4. Dr Nora presented about the proposal for TL using our fibers in International Space Station. Proposal for JAXA ie. Japan. Nice presentation. This also coincides with effort from Dato Jamil. All the best!

5. I presented about some activities during my Sabbatical at Ireland and UK. Ranged from spectrum measurement, trials using MPPC, discussions on arrayed sensors, book on fiber dosimetry, numerous proposals etc.
