I am attaching an excel sheet containing the present status

1. A total of 58 students are registered and 58 students have their project groups assigned.. Note the
following discrepancies

- Two exchange students do not yet appear in the registration list. As per my discussion
with AR(UGS), they will soon be added to the list

        2012CS19015     PASI SARINEN
        2012CS19020     DANIEL LEHMANN

- Two students are at present not in any group. They should either join one of the groups
by the weekend (Monday 9:00 AM hard deadline) or drop the course

To all CSP315,

First of all I would like to congratulate all of you for the efforts put in and the excellent
demos given. Almost all visitors had high praise for the work shown. Keep it up.

I would still like to make one important suggestion based on my observation.
Some groups started very late and though in many cases had working systems but demos were not
well thought out and did not make the impact that it could have. Note that in almost all activities
the finishing part is as time consuming as development part and requires as much thought. Do
not ignore it.

Followup:

1. Please consolidate all your software, diagrams, presentations, posters in a CD with properly marked directories and a readme file and submit to Mr. Som Dutt Sharma preferably by Tuesday. In case that is
not feasible for any reason, let him know when you can do it.

2. If you would like to follow up on any project in any form (miniP, BTP, some contest etc.) please feel free to contact me.

3. There are many opportunities to get support/showcase the projects even within IIT D
- TDP-IAS scheme for IRD can give upto Rs 2.0 L for pilot testing
- Innovation awards of the Institute
- A new center for design and Innovation is coming up in IIT Delhi and they would
have number of schemes to take it up.
- In some cases filing of patent is possible.

Wish you all a happy semester break and an exciting 2013!

regards
Bala

Respected Sir,

Unfortunately all the members of our group have already left for home and
i am also leaving today. So we won't be able to give the CD of the
software and other utilities now. Although you may find the poster,
presentation, code for JSON file creation and the code for android
application on the website of our device i.e., http://www.vipdev.co.nr/.
We will give you the CD in the next semester.

Thank you

Best Wishes,
VIPDEV Team
