Here's a handy countdown link Spring Count Down 2009
It's Cold Who Cares?!
A big shout out to those that are still riding in this weather: Tim
Guthrie, Bob Craig, Ginger Marsh, Ryan Smith, John Loreaux, Ron
Ralston, Mike Lohrer, and Nick Denham! HARD CORE! My apologies if I
forgot you, give me a call or shoot me an email and let me know what
the weather is like out there for you. We will schedule some road and
MTB group rides very soon.
Racing Indoors with Booze!
I'm going to the Cincinnati Goldsprints this coming Friday with
Michael Pasquale our Technology Guru. Michael is helping us build a 4
rider roller racing rig and I think we'll get the fine folks at Saris
– Cycle Ops to help out.
Free Bike Magazines!
I found out about the roller races at urbanvelo.org a great site. If
you want a real live tangible copy of Urban Velo stop by the shop for
a free copy.
And you can get a free copy of Adventure Cyclist here.
WHOA!! Live Bike Porn!!
The North American Handbuilt Bicycle Show is February 28th – March 2nd
in Indianapolis. Wanna go? Click here for online ticket info. This
show is in it's 5th year and framebuilder extraorinaire Don Walker has
created an event that is rapidly equaling Interbike in it's
importance. If you want to see the finest bikes in the world this is
the place. Unlike Interbike the NAHBS is open to the public. The show
was a sell-out in Portland last year. It will move around from year to
year so this is your chance. Great fotos from last year at Urban Velo
. Let me know if you want to go and we'll work out some car pooling.
I plan to attend at least two days.

Representing with Ronald MacDonald!
January 24 and 25 – Mycle's Cycles rider Brad Jaeger will be
representing at the Daytona 24 Hours. Look for a strong showing as
Brad's team has won twice before! He'll be racing the new MacDonald's
racecar. Co-driver Memo Gidley has a personal sponsorship with our
friends at Marin Bikes. Catch the race on Fox and Speedtv.
Shred Indoors!
January 30 – CORA our local IMBA affiliate (as in the people who
maintain the trails at Eastfork) has rented Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike
Park in Cleveland and sliced a cool deal with some local hotel.
Everything I know about Ray's is good. Info here.
