Dr. Somera is
a Tax Consultant, Professor/Lecturer, former Director of BIR &
former Member of Board of Accountancy. He is a retired BIR Regional
Director in Manila and has worked in the BIR for 43 years. He is a
career - Executive Officer (CESO-V). He has three (3) Doctorate
Degrees: Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management, Doctor of
Business Administration and Doctor of Public Administration. He is a
former member of Board of Accountancy and has spent forty years as a
teacher, professor or lecturer at De La Salle, PUP, MLQU and PSBA. He
is a regular speaker/lecturer in tax seminars or fora in the
Philippines and abroad. He had written 38 technical papers in
taxation. Moreover, he is a tax consultant and a Board of Trustee of
prestigious non-stock, non-profit organizations.

Atty. Froilyn
is previously a director of SGV and partner of the law firm Follosco
Morallos & Herce. She received her LI.B. degree from the
University of the Philippines in 2000 and was admitted to the bar in
2001. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Saint Louis University in 1996.
From 2000 to 2006, she worked with Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co.,
where she had extensive exposure in tax advisory and advocacy as well
as corporate registrations and restructuring. She was resource person
in the Supreme Court’s Technical Assistance to the Philippine
Judiciary on Justice and Development and the Senate Ways and Means
Committee hearing on taxation of common carriers. She had been
speaker on legal issues such as in the Ateneo Human Rights Center
Paralegal Training and the 1st Philippine Retirement and Healthcare
Summit held in April 2011. She teaches Taxation, Commercial Law,
Corporations and Partnerships, and Obligations and Contracts at the
Mapua Institute of Technology School of Business Management.
