Tbe last backup was on Oct. 8. Since then I have new data, but it hasn't been backed up. Version 2.14.1.

Same here, even after version 2.14.2
My last backup to google is dated 2018-01-17. In this very date I've updated OTA my Samsung j5 to android 7 and since then no data is backed up to google servers.
