Assalamu alaykum brothers and sisters,
On behalf of the MAS Brooklyn & Staten Island Board of Trustees and Executive Team, I want to thank you for making yesterday's event a success.
The real success I mean here isn't the amount of money we raised or collected; the real success is the dedication, efforts and collective work you demonstrated before, during and after your center's fundraising event.
I want to say to all of you Jazakum Allah Khayran" and "I love all of you for the sake of Allah".
Also, I would like to remind myself before all of you that the main part of our mission statement in the Muslim American Society is "To Move People"; in your case, our mission and goal is "To Make Leaders".
We see in each one of you a potential leader who can lead our community and make sure that it's served the best way it deserves to be served.
Again, jazakum Allah alf kheir and I would like to take this chance to invite all of you for an appreciation dinner at our center on Friday, May 9th (Exact time is to be determined after consulting with the Youth committee leaders).
