Salaam:
Ramadan Mubarak! We hope everyone is having a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
What better way to commemorate the month, then to participate in our monthly Food Drive.
Insha Allah, MCSS (Muslim Community Support Services) will hold the monthly food distribution at the ISBCC this coming Saturday, July 20th. We will be holding the food drive at the ISBCC Roxbury Masjid's basement.
This month, we are in special need of deliverers and packagers!
Your help is needed to provide food packages to over 100 families in need of assistance. The tasks we need to accomplish are:
1) Packing (starting 10am)
2) Deliveries (starting 2pm)
3) Produce pickup from Haymarket (8am)
4) Chicken and Meat pickup from Haymarket (noon)
5) Clean-up (2pm)
The towns we need to cover for deliveries are: Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Charlestown, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, South Boston, and South End. If you can help with deliveries, please let me know which town(s) you prefer to cover and the number of deliveries you can make, so we can plan the routes beforehand.
