Why iBatis .net not updated so long time, is it dead?

i downloaded the source code and build it, aware that DataMapper has
been changed a lot compare to 1.6.2, why? and no document for new
version.

Hi

1.6.2 is the last stable iBatis.net release.

From my understanding they are still working on the first mybatis.net release, but the java version would have had priority due to a larger user base.

We are using 1.6.2 for some of our applications, and have not had any issues with it.

Regards

Scott

I am using 1.6.2 on large projects with no issues too. I know that Michael has a lot of new improvements on 1.6.x branch ready to be committed but due to his schooling has no time to accomplish. There are a couple of things I would like to improve (possibility of nesting sql include is on top of my personal list) but, I have no time too.

Thanks!
i wish the first release come soon. and if possible, can myBatis.net
be published to Nuget.org? i think it would let more .net people know
this fantastic project.

I know Andrea and I would love someone else that has some time right now to do a actual build for .net 3 if you have some time?  Its been updated to the latest castle and many defects have been fixed in the 1.x release code-line.  The 3.X has been converted over to MyBatis and updated as well.

Michael,

Hope all is well, hang in there with the schooling and all!

What does "do a actual build for .net 3" imply exactly? Is this about fixing the build scripts and deploying somewhere?

I'm in the process of moving this week, but could put some time in next week.

Sincerely,

Roger

Yes!

Basically we just need the build scripts for .net 1.X to be fixed to support the .net 4 codeline and the same thing done in the 3.X

Michael,

Michael,

Do you have any "draft" build script, either a Visual Studio solution file or nant build script you use for your own building of the 3.x line?

Otherwise, which one is more urgent? A Visual Studio solution file or an nant build script? Or something else? I really miss Maven in situations like this...

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Roger

I think I misunderstood the problem statement.

Is the goal to modify existing build scripts of the 1.X line so that it builds with .Net 4 libraries? And then the same thing for the 3.X line?

Need more coffee...

Michael,

As usual, got caught up in other stuff.

I started looking into your request to build ibatis.net for .NET 4. As far as I can tell, to do this from nant simply requires a recent version of nant with the -t:net-4.0 property.

I'll install and try this today.

Sincerely,

Roger

Michael,

I started a new thread on the mybatis-dev list. I have running scripts with warnings. I need to get familiar with the tests, I don't know if what I have done works or not. Working on this now!

I might ping you later. Which time zone are you in?

Is the mybatisnet trunk code based on the old 1.6.x stuff or the 3.x stuff from Apache?

Hi all, I am new here.
I am seriously considering use MyBatis.NET as the DAO layer for my project. Therefore, I don't like it to be deading :)

Is 1.9.2 the latest version you'd discussed or a new 3.x is coming?

I found MyBatis is poorly documented even for a "hello world"... Is it possible to include a simple but workable demo into coming release? I think it may helps to improve the lacking-document situation.

For a complete example you can find one that demonstrats the use of
mybatis.net in a layered web application,
to download the application go to
