We have a Spring web app that quit logging Mappers at the debug level when we upgraded slf4j to v1.7.36 from v1.7.33.  It appears this is isolated to Mac - we suspect linux as well but have not yet verified (probably will tomorrow).  For some reason, it works on Windows.

I realize this might be sl4j and not mybatis but I'm simply not sure where to begin to verify if this is a bug or something in our configuration (which I'm pretty sure hasn't changed but you know how these things go).

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to isolate this issue?

p.s.  Though we use slf4j, our loggers/appenders are defined via log4j2.xml in src/main/resources if that matters.
Also, we do use an up to date version of Spring but this is a legacy app that does not use Spring Boot yet - still uses spring XML config files.
