Apologies for asking a question not about MyAppSales but looking on the Apple dev forums it looks to me like a lot of questions go unanswered so I'm hoping one of you can help me out.

I want to update my existing app but I do not know my bundle seed ID and no longer have any of the keys and certs I used when I uploaded it. In my provisioning portal I have 4 Seed IDs with the same or similar name (which I set up myself when I was trying to submit the app the first time and kept getting errors or problems), one of these is the correct ID but how can I find out which one is being used by the currently available app?

Hope someone can help me

Regards
Gary

Gary,
Download the app from the app store.  Find the ipa file.  Unzip it.  Find the info.plist file.  Then use plutil to convert it from binary to xml using this syntax
plutil -convert xml1 Info.plist

Now examine it for its bundle id.

Good luck
Dermot.

Thanks for the tip but I think I must be missing something. I cant see the Bundle Seed ID listed on there, it has the bundle identifier (com.conceptgamesltd.randomgold) Is this all I need to make sure is the same to allow the app to be updated for free with the new version?

Thanks
Gary
