Eurythmy with Claudia Fontana - Kota Kemuning

Dear friends,

 

Eurythmy teacher Claudia Fontana will be in Malaysia this September 2012. A few of us was lucky to have a chance to attend one of her eurythmy lesson while we were in Cheng Du Waldorf School. It is much easier to feel eurythmy, in the action, in motion, but not so easy to explain in words.

 

However below is a little explanation by Claudia:

 

In Greek sculpture the human being's perception of life's flowing forces was held fast in stone, in pictures of streaming and flowing forms of perfect proportions.

Modern humanity can again gain a conscious experience of these life forces .

How do we tap into this free flowing form of movement?

 

BY DOING EURYTHMY!

 

Eurythmy is an art of movement which explores the archetypical forms and movements belonging to the world of sound in music as well as in speech. Sound is always formative. In doing Eurythmy we enter into a formative space alive with the forces that shape us as human beings.

 

Instructor: Claudia Fontana studied Eurythmy in Vienna, Austria. She became a

performer of Eurythmy for 14 years touring internationally. Teaching

children and adults in various Waldorf Schools and training centers

was her further commitment to Eurythmy. She is now a free-lance

teacher with assignments in the USA, Thailand, China and for the first

time in Malaysia.

通过跳音语舞！

音语舞是一种肢体动作的艺术，它探索音乐和语言的声音世界所蕴含的原型动作。声音从来都可以通过动作来表达的。通过跳音语舞，我们得以进入一个塑形的空间，一个与最初塑造人类的力量进行连接的空间。

指导者简介：Claudia Fontana在维也纳、奥地利修习音语舞。学成后14年来，一直作为专业的音语舞表演者，在世界各地巡演。接下来，她将在各种华德福学校和培训机构中，从事面向儿童和成人的音语舞教学工作。目前她主要活跃于美国、泰国和中国，并将首次在马来西亚开课。

Below are the lessons that will conducted in Kota Kemuning:

Adults Weekend Lessons

Date : 1^st (Sat) / 2^nd (Sun) / 8^th (Sat) / 9^th (Sun)

Every Lesson is RM60.00 per person.

Time : 1:00pm – 4:00pm

1:00pm-2:15pm 1^st Session

2:15pm-2.45pm Break

2.45pm-4.00pm 2^nd Session  

Venue: Kota Kemuning

For the weekend (Sat & Sun) eurhythmy lessons will be conducted in a dance studio with an accompanying pianist.

Adult Weekday Evening Lessons

Sept 4^th (Tues),5^th (Wed) ,6^th (Thurs) ,7^th (Fri) ,11^th (Tues)

Time: 7.30pm -9.00pm

Venue: Kota Kemuning

Fees : Every Lesson RM30.00

Weekday evening eurhythmy lessons will be conducted by using speech.

Lessons will be conducted in English.

Participant may enrol according to the dates that you would like to attend.

Participants who enrol for full lessons (4 weekend lessons & 5weekday evening lessons)are entitle for a special discounted fee of RM350.00.

These lessons will be an exposure for us on what is eurythmy and also the connection with the spiritual world. We hope that with these lessons, we will become more conscious on our movement and also our inner self .The more lessons you attend the more experience you'll gain.

We will only take in 40 participants for the weekend lessons and 20 participants for the weekday lessons. If you are interested,  please go to the below link to register as soon as possible. Thank you so much!
