Youth Action in the Media |
Over the past two weeks Youth Action has appeared across various media channels to promote our most recent policy paper 'Homeshare: An affordable housing alternative'. You can download the policy paper here: youthaction.org.au/homeshareand check out some of the excellent coverage via the links below. |
We held some productive meetings over the past two weeks with Brad Hazzard (Minister for Family & Community Services, Minister for Social Housing) and Pru Goward (Minister for Mental Health, Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, Minister for Women). Minister Goward invited us to chat about our recent election campaign work regarding youth mental health, and our papers on young people’s attitudes to domestic, family & teen dating violence. In our meeting with Minister Hazzard we asked some hard questions about the state of the TEIP reforms, his plans to engaging the sector and the future directions of the department. Look for a more detailed update to come next week. |
