AAWRB Everyone,
Today, Mohga, Ahlam, Israa and I were in a meeting with the Fundraising Dinner planning committee. After much convincing the committee agreed to allow the youth (ages 14+) to have their own program during the dinner in order to keep the third floor as professional as possible- With a restriction, we must have a set proposal and agenda ready to go for the volunteers meeting on Friday at 8 PM.
InshAllah, the brothers will be in the second floor youth lounge and the sisters will be in the computer room in the basement.
I spoke to Br. Kamran about the brothers activity, so inshAllah he is taking charge of that.
The sisters will be having a movie night- watching the movie Arranged- as well as eating pizza and soda. We will be chargining b/t $5-7 per sister inshallah. I have assigned Srs Saja, Hajar, and Alae to supervise ins.
InshAllah this program will help to keep the youth enjoying themelves and engaged that night.
Br. Kamran- please get me your proposal for the brothers by tomorrow night inshAllah- Jazak Allah khair!
