Feature request: Date only stamp?

There are a lot of times where I just want the date stamp (without the
time) and currently all that is offered is Date+Time or just Time.

How about it?

just added new command Edit->Insert->Insert Date (Ctr+Shift+T).

Ok, thanks so much! I'll also use this chance to say that I love this
software so much that I have ACTUALLY stopped looking at others. As a
software junkie, that is huge.

Yes, that's me, too. Every now and then I scout around to see what's out there--but so far nothing beats MLO.
