How do I DISABLE sync with Outlook. I have Outlook at home, and
Outlook at work, and don't want to mess up my work stuff with home
stuff (and vice versa). I cannot see an option to disable sync, only
various ways to autosync. I want to disable the possibility of Outlook
syncing
Ideas?
Thx

So you move your MLO data file from home to work and want to be able
to sync with outlook only at home?
I think the only option at the moment is not to move your MLO data
file (since outlook sync options are stored there) but rather sync
your home file with work file.
I did not test this configuration. Will it work for you?

Andrey.

Exactly the opposite ;) i.e. I bring my work MLO data file home and
want to review status / update it, but I also have Outlook on my home
machine. I'd like to be able to disable the possibility of an Outlook
sync on my home machine. I'm just looking for an option on my MLO
instance at home that says "don't sync with Outlook" - but I cannot
find one. (Feature request?) If you store the Outlook settings in the
datafile - I guess I'm looking for an "application override" Enable/
Disable function that is install specific.

What caused this request is that I have Outlook 2007 at home, and
Outlook 2003 at work. Somehow I did initiate an Outlook sync, and what
happened was that my MLO hierarchies got flattened completely, and
everything got moved into "Inbox", and home stuff get all tangled up.
Took me about 30 mins to sort out, and I'm sure I lost information
(some nodes were duplicated but missing contexts etc etc). Horrible -
and I'd prefer not to do it again.

Thx
G.
