Perhaps this is in plans already, but I didn't see it anywhere:

I would like to have a function for bulk deletion of all done tasks.
Possibly even implemented with the option to have all the deleted items
archived to a default archive file (even in a flat tree, no problem)

In terms of the task completion reporting features that are
contemplated, I admit I don't want so much to delete done tasks as move
them out of my way in the outline, or into a separate outline that
perhaps mirrors the first but is *only* for completed tasks. I have no
idea of the feasibility of this, or of others' interests, but I know I
like to be able to search on a task that I *think* I completed (like a
phone call), and say, "Yes, I completed that 2 weeks ago, sure enough."

By the way, thanks for the suggestions on limiting the length of my
to-do list with virtual-rooting and filtering by place. I think I may
create a few more places than I'm now using........... (which may not
literally be places).

Best regards,
Orson

Yes it was listed in my private wish-list. I've updated the plans. Thanks
for mentioning this.

#F026 Archiving completed tasks (by developers)
Archive (or auto archive after some time) all completed tasks to backup
file. There might be problems with outline structure though.
Comments from developers: Right now if you use Outlook sync you may set
option "When task is deleted in MyLife do not delete it in Outlook but
assign new category to it". By doing this you would have all deleted in MLO
tasks still archived in Outlook.

Another one, it would be great to input task directly by writing when
inside of outline. For example PDesk has it. It is enough to start
writing and new task is made, instead of having to press INS.
