Feature Request: Password/Encryption

I've started using MLO as a reference bin because of the superior
syncing ability with the PPC. One very helpful feature in this (and
even in todo list mode) would be basic password protection.

I'm not concerned with government quality encryption - just enough to
prevent someone from sitting at the computer or picking up the Pocket
PC and seeing all my info. Would anyone else find this useful?

With this feature, MLO really does open up its uses to more than just
the core to-do crowd. Many people have issues with the plain-text
notes, but I've come to dislike poor RTF note implementations more. Now
that we have the ability to link to a file, I find it easier to create
a Word document and link to it. What I'm getting at here is this
feature could perhaps attract more users. One of MLO's closest
competitors (at least in theory) is ListPro, and they offer password
protection at the file level.

BTW - just to add this in, the more I use this application, and the
more I user OTHER programs, the more I appreciate it. There is a speed,
simplicity, and reliability that few applications seem to match.

I love idea of file based password protection. It is in the list for
implementation.
