I've noticed this is actually a general problem with the new Tree View
and affects the Outline too!

Andrey, will this be fixed? As it's broken some features of MLO
Hotkeys at the moment, so if not I need to change it.

Many thanks
Jon

Jon,

I have just sent you the fix on email. If it works it will be added to
the next beta.

Thanks Andrey, it works great. :)

I had a minor suggestion about the matching order going from first
level, second level, and so on, instead of top to bottom. More details
in my email.

Jon,

Let me answer your suggestion here.

The question is that in previous versions MLO searches only visible
tasks when you start typing in the outline.
The new control has options so search either in visible tasks only or
in all tasks (expanding them if necessary). I have set to search in
all tasks and I think it is more convenient than as it worked before.

Could you please compare how it worked before with new version and let
me know your thoughts.

Andrey.

Hi Andrey,

Sorry but I found there is still a problem with MLO Hotkeys and the
MLO tree search.

In MLO Hotkeys for my SnippetToTask feature I want to be sure the
<Inbox> is selected (which may not be at the top of the tree).

For example please setup an outline such as:

<Inbox>
someparent
investigage something..

The problem is that if the selection is already on the <Inbox> - then
when you type '<In' the selection will change to the first
'investigate..' task, then it stays there even if you type the full
'<Inbox>'

Please could you update MLO so it will stay on the <Inbox> when you
type those characters?

Thanks
Jon

This is exactly the problem I am having with MLO v2.1 RC1 and MLO
Hotkeys v1.73

I'm going to link to this in the current MLO Hotkeys thread as well.

Any plan for a fix on this?

as a temporary workaround. Just create a task named "--" or anything
above the <inbox>

this works for me! :)

Fixed. I will send you the current build for testing.
