Real, proper markdown in MLO notes 2025

I see posts going as far back as 2019 from people asking for real markdown.  I've been using v4 since around 2013 and the only thing keeping me from upgrading is a lack of proper markdown.  I have adapted to using a secondary application as a work-around, and if MLO implemented real markdown then I'd pay and upgrade in a second and ditch my alternative solution.  

MLO, if your markdown can't handle:

print("give us real markdown please")

```

Then it's just not markdown in 2025. 

PS - you're missing a potentially large audience with no dedicated Linux version.
