Pursuant to Governor Healey’s March 28, 2025 signing of Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025 extending certain COVID-19 measures adopted during the State of Emergency suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, § 20 until June 30, 2027 this meeting of the Chatham Economic Development Advisory Committee is being conducted in person and via remote participation.

Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings as provided for in the Order. Committee Charge:
Recommend to the Chatham Select Board to lead the strategic planning and support the tactical implementation of specific economic development opportunities that can accelerate sustainable, year-round economic growth for the Town of Chatham and its citizens without creating significant adverse impacts on our community character or natural environment. These initiatives, which are for the purpose of developing proposals for the Select Board to consider for adoption/implementation as appropriate, may be undertaken independently and/or in collaboration with private entities, other Cape communities, or agencies for both local and regional benefit. The Committee will solicit input across the broadest possible spectrum of Chatham residents, business owners, and employees, with a particular focus on supporting and growing small businesses, revitalizing local employment, strengthening local schools, and supporting affordable and attainable housing initiatives.
