The Town of Orange Planning Board will hold a public hearing pursuant to MGL c40A, Section 5, on May 24, 2022 at 6:30pm to consider an amendment to the Town of Orange Flood Plain Zoning Bylaws for the purpose of updating the Flood Plain Zoning Bylaws in accordance with Federal Regulations as outlined in the US Code of Federal Regulations- Title 44 Emergency Management.

Due to COVID 19, and pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, and his subsequent extension of this provision until July 15, 2022, when it expires, this hearing will be conducted via teleconference. Meeting participation instructions can be found 48 hours prior to the meeting on the meeting agenda posted on the Town of Orange site http://www.mytowngovernment.org/01364 under the Planning Board section. The materials showing complete language of the proposed article may be reviewed by submitting a request to the Planning Board Office by emailing the office at plan...@townoforange.org or by contacting the Community Development Director Alec Wade at aw...@townoforange.org.

Continuation of Public Hearing, Tuesday, regarding a Special Permit application for 25 Brookside Road, Orange, MA 01364(Map 116, Lot 10) in Zone A(c) by applicant ZP Battery Dev Co LLC, 10 E Worcester Street, Suite 3A, Worcester, MA 01604 and property owner Randy Coffin, PO Box 454, Athol, MA 01331 for: construction of a solar energy storage system along with applicable access, drainage and electrical improvements.

c. Continuation Public Hearing, Tuesday, regarding a Special Permit application for 207 Daniel Shays Unit C, Orange, MA 01364 (Map 252, Lot 59) in Zone B by applicant ZP Battery Dev Co LLC, 10 E Worcester Street, Suite 3A, Worcester, MA 01604 and property owner George Hunt/Hunt Family Trust, 56 Magoon Road, Orange, MA 01364 for: construction of a solar energy storage system along with applicable access, drainage and electrical improvements.
