III. 7:10PM Public Hearing Public: Definitive Subdivision Plan and Special Permit application for V&J Real Estate. For proposed creation of 8 new residential building lots in accordance with MGL Chapter 41 Section 81U of the Massachusetts subdivision control law approval process and under the Open Space Residential Design (OSRD) provisions of Section 3.16 of the Athol Zoning Bylaw, along with 9+/- acres of land to remain as permanent open space for property located off of Pleasant Street (Map 34 Parcel 106), continued from October 2, 2024

IV. Other New and Old Business:

A. Review of initial first draft Self-Storage Facilities Zoning Bylaw

B. Introduction on Dark Sky Lighting Standards

C. Announcement of FY 25 Community Planning Grant to further Master Plan Update development

V. Anticipated Upcoming Meetings: Topics for next regular committee meeting date (Wednesday, November 6, 2024) discussed: public hearings for potential new permit applications and other topics planned for discussion. Board discussion on potential alternative meeting location from Room #21 (e.g. Virtual, via Zoom or at a larger meeting venue as needed).
