5. Public Address to the Board:
This is the time when the public may address the board on any item listed on the meeting agenda or on any issue or matter of the town. For all public commentary, the board may limit the public address segment to 30 minutes. Additionally, each individual may be limited to 3 minutes. When addressing the board, we ask that you do the following:
 Please raise your hand to be recognized by the Board chair
 Please step up to the microphone at the podium to speak
 Please identify yourself by name, address or the company or institution you represent
 Please address your comments to the Board chair
 Please make your comments concise and try not to repeat statements made by others
 Discussion or debate on any issue will not take place during the initial public address
 The Chair or their designee may answer procedural questions at this time
 If you wish to speak during a particular agenda item later in the meeting, as a courtesy please request during the public address portion the right to speak later. That way if the Board chooses not to grant you the right to speak later you have the opportunity during the public address portion.

 It’s mowing season again! Please be mindful of your grass clippings! Protect the water quality of our rivers by keeping streets and sidewalks free of grass clippings. When rain washes grass clippings into a nearby storm drain, they end up in our rivers. As the clippings break down they release nitrogen degrading water quality and fueling algal blooms. Be a good neighbor, compost at home or, if you have a permit, bring your clippings and leaves to the Transfer Station. Thank you! (This message was brought to you by the Stormwater Commission).
 The Planning Board will hold a public hearing regarding mobile tiny homes on Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM at the Dalton Senior Center.
 The ADA and Green Dalton Committees are looking for volunteers.
 The Dalton Cultural Council is looking for volunteers to assist with planning Dalton Day 2026.
