Citizens of india and pak, cheering for their cricket stars, to conform to the misconstrued nationalism. what good cricket has done to the humanity?

1.Although successful in uniting whole country.Doubtful wether this sense of nationalism is adding to any effort 2 peaceful n prosperous humankind inside both the borders.

2. Possibly it is fuelling enmity between people of indo pak. People across borders need bonhomie to defeat poverty , polio etc together, not to celebrate others defeat.

3 This sport spirit has large connotations and it only create hostility and subsequent militarisation.

4 PeopleS emotion of so called nationalism is cashed by politicians of both countries for electoral gains, latest is disturbance at JK loc, helped bjp in assembely elections.

5 Joint indo pak team would be better option to motivate people to fight poverty, polio..

6 Cheering for each others defeat is void, it will continue to substitute bullet for roti.

Sir,

With all the due regard to your sentiments for the people who are deprived of things which we take for granted.

But still i think there has to be fine balance between these things of amusements and others... as even a young lad who's deprived of education would still be enjoying a cricket match between India-Pak. 

I think what's more important is that the money that is flowing into BCCI can be used for different schemes by Govt. for benefit of commons.

Right to entertainment is basic human need but
Cricketing has not been just an entertainment. It has got degenerated to ingrain negative feelings for people across border, accentuated by vested interest group of indoPak and the west.

Instead brotherhood need to be camped; which is failed by cricket.

I think the feeling were worse when the two countries during 50s 60s and 70s. Rather i would people from two country respect the talent. Like Sachin gets respect at Karachi.

It should be treated like a game and not like a mini war as has been made up on social media and other media...almost creating a hysteria..
Game is played for competition and cricketers play for money.. and this is true for both countries.. so just play it and forget it....
