Dear Ashish,

Hope this mail finds you in good health.

We are a small team of socially-conscious passionates (from IIT Kharagpur, the YIFP and the Global Shapers fraternity) and we have been working on creating a model of a digital ecosystem of social organizations (both non and for-profit), local communities and corporations, to facilitate informed discovery, syndication, resource mobilization and knowledge harnessing in this very fragmented space. It is called LetsEndorse. Our vision is to bring a desired level of transparency into the needs, issues, challenges and impact-stories of the third sector in India. We have a special focus on smaller grass-root organizations. In this process, we are guided by Dr. Pramath Sinha (Founding Dean, ISB Hyderabad & Ashoka University), Mr. Sanjeev Prasad (CIO, Genpact) and Mr. Anupam Bhasin (ex-Director, HR & TQM, Hero Group of Companies & Hero Corporate Service Limited).

As part of our ongoing effort, LetsEndorse is working with Oxfam India to digitize powerful stories from the grassroots and build state-of-the-art web-presence for five rights-based NGOs working in northern Chhattisgarh. This is a short-term project, which runs for a total of 15-20 days between Sept 15 and Oct 20, 2015. There is a need for a community-engagement enthusiast who can visit these NGOs, spend 3-4 days with each, understand and collate the necessary information and impact-stories from grassroots, translate some of their reports from Hindi to English, photograph their interventions, digitize the collected information and train relevant NGO personnel in digital content management. She/he would be paid a sum of INR 15000 for this period. Additionally. accommodation, meals and travel expenses shall be reimbursed.

LetsEndorse/Oxfam will take care of providing training to the candidate for digitizing information, introducing her/him to relevant personnel at these NGOs and preparing presentation deck for training. Interacting with five different kinds of organizations and their core team and beneficiary communities in an intensive manner, in Chhattisgarh, would offer great insights and sneak peeks into their agendas, causes, uniqueness, challenges and functioning. Please let us know if you find this opportunity interesting and would like to explore. We would be happy to get on a call and discuss this in detail :)

Best Regards,
Monika Shukla
