Must Scrap Child labor Act

Child Labor prohibition Act is just a nuisance. It's purposeless and a problematic statute.

Child is not getting work in mess, dhaba, shops, chai stall etc.
Hence s(he) is deprieved of basic need Foood.

Parents r not able to feed. Parent may b disabled, jailed, dead...

need to ensure food n then edu. All child willing  2 join school , even beggar aim to teach their kids..no such act wud b  needed.

Presently , poor, hungry, child take drugs, beg, r growing into  criminal thr small assignment as pick pocketing....

Need not to bring any new policy n pgm, educated n smart people shall engulf all resource ! !

Hence , I call to repeal the act.

Yes, when right to education is there, we should recall child labour act.

Some background facts : Article 24 of the constitution clearly prohibits employment of children below 14 yrs in factory/hazardous activities. It does not prohibit their employment in any harmless or innocent work.  

But in 2006 Govt. banned their employment even as domestic worker/ in dhabas others.

And in Aug 2012, Union Cabinet approved proposal to completely ban employment below 14 years in all occupation & processes.

Child Labour Act (P & R) is still to be amended and will be renamed as Child and Adolescent Labour(P) Act.

So present status is that employment of children below 14 yrs is prohibited in 18 occupation and 65 process i.e in hazardous occupation and processes and regulated in non-hazardous occupation.

And i personally support Child labour prohibition act as we should advocate to get them food, education and other basic eminities required 

If we will support child labour, they will loose the very essence of childhood and mind it... they are children of poors and without education they will remain poor. And hence the differences b/w poor and rich will keep on increasing. They will never know what should they do to be an IITian, an IAS , a sports person, an MP and so on.
