Job Title: Oracle SOA QA Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Duration: 06+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Will collaboratively operate across business areas and technical areas to define architecture solutions that represent both business capabilities and the technical architecture roadmap. Build consensus to support the execution of such solutions and clearly articulate the business and technical benefits. Contribute to the definition of architectural policies, standards, and procedures for SOA suite of products.
Responsibilities:
Use Test automation tools like Quick Test Professional (QTP)
Perform manual Testing
Write test scenarios and test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts based on business and functional requirements
Strong experience in Testing and Validation of IWAY based Applications
Experience in Manual and Automation testing of Web Applications and Web Services
GUI testing, Black Box Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Exploratory, Functional and Non Functional Testing, End-to-End Testing, Backend Testing, Web testing, UAT of both Client/Server and Web-Based applications
Experience creating and executing test cases manually to verify complex system Requirements and involved in database testing for transaction verification using SQL queries
Work on multiple levels of SDLC and STLC including Test plan, Test Case Design and Execution, Defect Tracking, Bug reporting & Test Release activities
Analyze business specifications and use cases for designing, developing and executing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Environment, Test Scripts, Test Sets, Traceability Matrices, Defect Reports and providing quality feedback to QA team & manager
Perform Database Testing using SQL
Use UNIX shell scripts and good at file handling mechanism
Use tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD and Putty
Hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)
Hands-on QA testing in BPEL and OSB
Qualifications:
Bachelors or higher-level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplineFive or more years performing QA testing of SOA enterprise applications
7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
Experience in testing Oracle E-Business Suite Systems
Proficient with HP Test Suite (Load Runner, Win Runner, Quick Test Pro and ALM/Quality Center)
Strong experience in Testing and Validation of IWAY based Applications, SQL Developer, TOAD and Putty
Hands-on experience using Test management tools like Quality Center and Test Director to write Test Cases and for reporting
Familiar with UNIX shell scripts and good at file handling mechanism
Hands-on QA testing in BPEL and OSB is required
Experience testing Oracle SOA Suite 11g or 12c framework for designed technical solutions based on business processes
Experience using BPEL, BPMN and Rules concepts
Experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL and JAVA
Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (BPM, BAM, OSR, OEM,OBR)
Experience of SOA integration with Oracle ERP and REST services a plus
Detail-oriented, well organized, able to work independently, and good communication and technical documentation skills
Expert and proven analysis, judgment, decision making, organizational, and planning skills working in an autonomous and proactive manner, and a desire to continuously learn new skills
Strong communicator and relationship builder with all levels of the organization
Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical business colleagues

Expertise with full software development life cycle including writing functional & technical specifications, design documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployment procedures.
Ability to incorporate relevant technical concepts/best practices and components into an enterprise environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience working in Agile methodology (SCRUM)
Good working knowledge and implementation of Quality Assurance, Testing Principles, Configuration Management and Change Management disciplines
Self-motivated and committed person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to learn new tools, concepts and environments
Strong experience working directly with customers & ability to brainstorm concepts
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Strong work ethic, critical thinker
Specific experience in the intermodal or transportation industries is a plus
Expertise with full software development life cycle (Waterfall and/or Agile) including writing functional & technical specifications, design documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployment procedures
