Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate who has a very strong background in automation using Selenium for .Net/C#/Silverlight. This candidate will be solely responsible for installing selenium, configuring, and
creating an Automation architecture/ framework for our Enterprise Application. Candidate will also be responsible for executing the automation script and maintaining it.
Must have qualifications:
• 6-8 years of very strong experience in creating an automation framework in Selenium for .Net/C#/Silverlight
• 6-8 years of very strong experience in automation scripting in Selenium (Selenese)
• 6-8 years of hands on experience on executing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Should be familiar with Selenium Web driver for Internet Explorer, Selenium RC.
• Should be familiar with Visual Studio to integrate the Selenium Web driver with Visual Studio.
• Very strong working knowledge of Bug Tracking system, preferably TFS and Quality Center.
• database Working knowledge of SQL queries and be able to query and be able to perform backend test.
• Ability to convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.
• Should have working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodology.
• Be able to work independently and in a team. Very good team player.
• Expertise in creating Test Strategy, Test plan, Test Estimation and maintain test repository for Automation testing.
• Experience with Defect Life cycle
• Understanding the existing Test design and Applications.
• Ability to work closely with functional testing team to understand the TC and create the Automation frame work and Automation test scripts.
• Ability to anticipate and drive change.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tough deadlines.
• Very strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact succinctly with technical and non-technical folks.
• Self-starter, highly motivated and taking initiatives.
• Thorough knowledge of complete SDLC.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the following tools and technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, Toad,.Net, C#, Silverlight
Windows operating systems and QTP Automation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Be a part of Software Quality Assurance team, responsible for testing highly complex Enterprise application.
• Creation and maintenance of automation architecture and framework.
• Train the QA team on use of Automation tool.
• Participate in daily scrum meeting.
• Document issues/bugs generated while running automation script.
• Work with development team to get a timely resolution of the bugs.
• Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough root cause analysis and impact of the defect
on other parts of the application.
• Coordinate with Application Development Team to successfully deploy software releases in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
