Of all the lessons shared by my mentor...the most important was
related to personal integrity.

We often confuse the word integrity with honesty...

Integrity is all about consistency to what one holds as basic moral
and ethical tennants.

Honesty may or may not be a foundational belief...but that should be
communicated and apparent in your behaviors...

What I learned was that integrity is the substance of ones internal
beliefs!

Acting with integrity means that we become predictable....

As a leader our jobs become significantly easier when people know how
we will act...and they will be able to make decisions that we do not
have to re-do!

The bottom line is that we decide what is important and then act
consistently related to that!

It is what personal branding is all about...

It is the foundation that all success is built upon!
