My Maps FAIL

The instructions posted here:
http://my-maps.appspot.com/

do not work.  The display says "An error occurred" and "HTTP error: 404"

There are MANY posts on your Google Group page that all report the same or similar errors, but no one has addressed these issues

I guess you folks have gone out of business?
