Updates to our Global Privacy Policy
Your privacy is a critical priority for Coinbase, so we want to keep you up to date on how we handle your personal information. As part of our efforts to continually improve our services and protect your privacy, we are making a few updates to our Global Privacy Policy to provide further clarity about how we collect, use and disclose your information. The key changes we have made include:

  • What Information We Collect, How We Use Your Information and Why We Share Your Information – We have updated the types of personal data we collect from and about you and added some additional information about how we use data we have about you and when and why we share your personal information with our third-party service providers.

  • How We Hold, Retain and Transfer Your Personal Information - We've added more information about how and what we store and retain your information for example to ensure our regulatory compliance.

  • Our Relationship With You - we have updated the information about which Coinbase entities may act as your controller depending on your place of residence and the Services that you use.

    • These changes will become effective on 12/21/2025. You do not need to take any action at this time. If you have any questions about this notice please refer to our Help Center. You can use your Privacy Dashboard to control and amend your privacy settings.
