My-Lead announcement

Jazakamullah Qairon for attending the My-Lead graduation ceremony. Whatever we have achieved is with the will of Allah SWT and any shortcomings were because of our faults.
Although we have completed the semester in a rush but this batch of My-Lead youth can continue to participate in My-Lead sessions. We are taking a break for this Friday ( 06/07/2013 ).
Few announcements are as below:
1. My-Lead speech contest will be on 06/29/2013 InshaAllah. We will announce the topic and rules of the contest very soon.
2. Parents if you have any pictures / videos of graduation ceremony please send them across to us. We will use that for community announcement.
3. On 06/14, 06/21, 06/28 we will have My-Lead sessions. During this session we will prepare youth for speech contest. They can just participate in session not required to come up with prepared speech.
4. We are starting My-Lead qatera in main musalla. MashaAllah Yusuf Abdullah presented on the day of graduation. InshaAllah every Friday after Maghrib one of the My-Lead youth will be given an opportunity to present a speech in main musalla. Please let us know if you want your kid to be given a chance to speak in main musalla. The speech should be 2 to 5 minutes only.
5. During Ramadan we are going to have Islamic quiz / Jeopardy for all the youth. This game /show will be designed and run by My-Lead youth. Let us know if your kid can take few responsibilities.
6. Next semester of My-Lead will begin after Ramadan. It will be a full fledge semester and we are enhancing few gaps that we found in the just finished semester.
7. We are planning to connect MSA and My-Lead so that youth can get some insights from students who are in universities about college life, admission processes, scholarships available, lessons learnt etc..
8. This batch of youth will be pioneers in running many youth activities InshaAllah. So please keep them engaged in My-Lead @ ICI. This was just the start. Bigger,better and brighter programs/initiatives for youth are on its way.
We look forward for your kids continuation in this program. Help us by providing your feedback and your kids feedback so that we can continue to improve it.
