Assalamualaikum:

Jazakamullah Qairon for the kind words. We are truly humbled and thank Allah SWT for choosing us to establish this and run this program.

When we started the program we wanted to get a feel from the community. Alhamdulillah we have heard and read good words and everyone are realizing that our youth needs these kind of programs. Many of the youth will go on to become Doctors, Engineers, Attorneys, Professors, Community leaders etc.. InshaAllah. They will be at upper hand no matter what they choose their careers to be.

Alhamdulillah youth have come a long way from the first speech which was an Ice-breaker (Introduction to the group) none of the youth were able to speak more than 1 minute. And in the last speech which was an internal speech contest Alhamdulillah more than 90% of youth were able to speak from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. They were not just speaking but were getting conscious about using proper body language, vocal variety etc.. It was truly an enjoyment to listen to them. They just started realizing the importance

of this program and many of the youth came up to to us and started requesting that they want to give a speech, they want to go and display skills in the main musalla area infront of larger audience. They still have a long long way to go. In few years many of our youth will be ready to hit the university. Do they have skills to crack an interview at Stanford, MIT or Harvard  for an admission?

MashaAllah each and every youth is gifted and super talented we just need to provide them the tools.

About future of My-Lead InshaAllah we will announce it very soon.

AH I watched yesterday for some kids' presentation, and I think they come far away, at least my son, Akeaf was improved a lot.  I know that they need to go more along the way, but this is one of the best program the kids started in their life and I am sure that this will eventually help on their future careers.
 
The kids came along but that is not enough and I would like to see more similar programs without much gap.  Do we have any future plans to continue these kind of speech / presentation programs, if so, please let us know.

Asalamu eleykum.

This is a gentle reminder for today's session.

Today will be the LAST class for MY-LEAD Students.

Next Friday (05-31-2013), we have a Graduation Ceremony for our MY-LEAD Graduates. InshaAllah. 

Insha Allah, We will be doing an Internal My-Lead speech contest today.The Topic is "Sahaba: My Role Model"

Parents please pay attention and review their workbooks. Each of them are given feedback which will help in filling the blind spots and improve their skills.

Please make sure your kids prepare a speech on the given topic and they can speak for at least 3 to 5 minutes.

Bring your own Laptop's, Ipad's.., If you want to give a Power point Presentation.
