Meeting notes:

   -> Akeaf Syed 9th grade youth was requested to host the session.

   -> Badees started with recitation of Quran.

   -> Each of the youth were asked to present the speech. Alhamdulillah everyone were given a chance to present the project.

  -> We have made youth watch few of the videos of youth presenting speeches at IIS (International Islamic school of Dr. Zakir Naik). This was to inspire them and build their confidence.

 -> Parents please pay attention and review their workbooks. Each of them are given feedback which will help in filling the blind spots and improve their skills.

 -> Next week InshaAllah we are doing an Internal My-Lead speech contest. We have given a topic and each of the youth were asked to come prepared with a speech. Topic given to them is Prophets in Islam. Please make sure your kids prepare a speech on this topic and they can speak for at least 3 to 5 minutes. Without parents interest and participation kids will not improve much.

 -> We are planning for My-Lead graduation day on May 31st 2013 InshaAllah.

 -> We are also planning for an exciting event in June 2013 InshaAllah. Stay tuned for more announcements.

 -> Next week if we are not able to finish the session by 9:45 PM CST we will continue for few more minutes after Isha so that everyone gets opportunity to present their speeches as we have only few weeks left for the semester to end.

Pay attention your 15 to 30 mins goes a long way in building the personality of your kid.
