Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Managed File Transfer (MFT) & Alvaria Integration

Location: Dallas, TX – 5 Days onsite role 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support secure file transfer solutions for delivering contact center and operational data to Alvaria using enterprise Managed File Transfer Services (MFTS). The role requires expertise in file transfer protocols, infrastructure administration, security controls, automation, and production support to ensure reliable and secure data exchange between internal platforms and vendor systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions for transferring files to Alvaria.
• Establish secure connectivity between internal systems and vendor-hosted environments using:
  • SFTP
  • FTPS
  • SCP
  • SSH Key Authentication
• Configure automated file transfers, scheduling, monitoring, and retry mechanisms.
• Collaborate with application, data engineering, security, and vendor teams to onboard new file feeds.
• Manage file encryption, decryption, and certificate-based authentication.
• Implement and support PGP encryption standards for sensitive data transfers.
• Troubleshoot file transmission failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop operational runbooks, support procedures, and architecture documentation.
• Monitor MFT infrastructure health and ensure SLA compliance.
• Coordinate firewall rule implementations, DNS configurations, and network connectivity testing.
• Support production deployments, change management activities, and disaster recovery testing.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization for high-volume file transfers.
