Job Title: Application Architect
Location: Frisco, Texas , Bedminster NJ , Boston, MA , Sunnyvale, CA
Permanent /FTE
Summary: 8 Years of IT experience
- Experience in migrating monolithic to micro-service architecture.
- Experience in designing scalable cloud native architectures including IaaS based solutions and native cloud services.
Domain Experience:
- Automation, IT Infrastructure consolidation & cloud migration, IT Security, Virtualization, Messaging & collaboration, Disaster Recovery, Security, Designing large and Complex distributed applications.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Architecting and Building highly scalable, cloud native applications on Cloud platform utilizing core developer services like APIGateway, Lambda/OpenWhisk/ AzureFunction, SQS/ RabbitMQ / MQLite, Dynamo/Cassandra , ECS/Kubernetes to name a few.
- Understanding and using latest technology trends such as server-less, containers, micro services etc.
- Migrating monolithic applications to micro services architectures.
- Advising and implementing Cloud Native app development best practices such as 12-factor app.
- Working as application assessment architect alongside the infrastructure architects.
- Using Agile software development and DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment.
Technology skills:
- Hands on programing skills in: Java, Node.js, .NET.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Architecting, designing and programming applications in public or private Cloud environment.
- Designing and building application using Container and server-less technologies
Preferred Certifications:
- TOGAF 9.0 EA
- ITIL Master Certificat
- AWS Certified Solution Architect
Education:
- Master in Computer Science
