Might be of interest to mxugers: Chris Male flying in to speak at Melbourne Search tomorrow

Hi all,

I thought some of you might be interested as we've got a special treat for tomorrow's session of Melbourne Search.

Chris Male who is both a Lucene core committer and part of ElasticSearch, is flying in to Melbourne especially to present to us tomorrow.

Following the upcoming epic release of Lucene 4, Chris will take the opportunity to talk about a few of the exciting features included and what they mean for ElasticSearch and open-source search in general.

As usual, the talk will be accompanied by beer, pizza and excellent conversations around search technologies. We also welcome impromptu lightning talks on interesting discoveries, issues or solutions that have come across your desk.
