Survey by Insan

Hi Everyone,

So there is a survey Insan wants to distribute on their project looking at migrant worker experiences with recruitment agencies, They need people to fill in the survey and the Sudanese Cultural Center and AltCity are two places they would like to implement it. 

I think we discussed it before but I also wanted to attach the survey for all of you to see. It is only in English and from what I read, its a little tough to read. 

I met with Lea who wants to administer it and she said it has been tough to implement it and actually using the English version makes it hard to get a good amount. 

I know from Rami, the survey was implemented at MCC already so your feedback is appreciated.

Also, Arcella, we could implement it at the Sudanese Cultural Center and so would need your opinion on this. 

Apparently, they are going to be doing an arabic version of the survey but I am not sure when it will be done.

Hi Arcella

On the Arabic, it seems like they are doing an arabic version. So I expect them to let me know when it's done.

As for the Sudanese Center. Would you recommend we just give them the contact person to the center and they can just organize a meeting with them themselves? If yes, who would be the best person to contact? I can also ask the students next week who the head of the center is currently and how best to reach him if anyone wants to reach him, this way for the future if anyone asks us, we can direct them appropriately to the person responsible.

If it is not in Arabic I do not recommended it be dessiminated. Who is collecting this data? Who is Insan? This person has to reach each center separately. Also, I do not feel comfortable distributing surveys without annonymity being guaranteed.
