Dear Migrant Workers Task Force,
My name is Audrey Ramel, I am working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Madagascar.
We have presently a counter-trafficking project being implemented here in Madagascar. One of the very reason of being of this project is the often reported cases of Malagasy
migrant workers victims of different forms of abuse and exploitation in the Middle East and Gulf countries.
I was wondering if your organization had come accross any case of potential Malagasy victim of trafficking and/or other vulnerable Malagasy migrants in the recent past.
At the moment, we have an assistance fund designed to comprehensively cater to potential victim of trafficking and/or other vulnerable Malagasy migrants. I am sharing
with you an information paper on the fund.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Audrey RAMEL
