Good Afternoon,

            I just thought I would take a minute to answer questions about current things going on at the Chicago Games:

1.  Questions about the Chicago Games:

        The solos on Friday will be starting between 9:00-10:00 in the morning.  The goal is to be finished before 4:00.  

        Gate entry for anyone playing as a soloist or on a band roster is free.  Your name will be on a master list at the gate         entry.  There will be no tickets issued. 

        For the solos, you need to check in with your station steward, not the MWPBA Tent.  No numbers are issued. 

        The band contest will be starting around 9:00 on Saturday.  Massed bands will be around 6:30

        All bands need to go through the final tuning area assigned.

        There is more space being provided for band tents and set up.  The areas will be marked and there will be MWPBA         Staff to help with the locations.

        Band Tent set up can start at 9:00 on Friday morning.  Not before.  Please no huge circus tents.  Everyone needs the         space.

        Many of the bands are flying in and will not have tents.  If you are a band that is driving in with a tent set up, can you         reach out to any out of town bands in a different Grade to offer tent space.  Let's all get along.....

3.     You can buy gate tickets in advance to help get through the entry gate quicker at:

4.     You can not bring in any alcohol through the gate.  Any non-authorized alcohol will be confiscated.  

5.     It will be a packed schedule so please be on time and cooperate with MWPBA Staff.
