Hello MWLLers,

As we enter the final week of our Spring 2007 season, we at the MWLL Board of Directors wanted to make sure everyone was aware of these upcoming events:

Playoffs and Championships:
This week, Smith's Clove Park in Monroe will be hosting some of the most exciting youth baseball you'll see.  Tonight (Monday) features the Majors semifinals with one game each on Smith Clove 1 and Smith Clove 2.  Tomorrow, it's the International division's semifinals.  On Wednesday, you can catch the Minors' finals as well as the Juniors championship on the big field (SC4).  Thursday closes the season with the International and Majors championships.  Come on out and cheer them on.

Your Opinion Counts:
Your team's manager should be distributing a packet of information to each player as the season winds down.  Included in it, you'll find a satisfaction survey.  Your opinions will help us direct our efforts for the 2008 season, so we need to hear from you.  Tell us what we're doing well, and what could have better about this season.  To make it easier to have your voice heard, please consider using the online version of the form, http://mwll.bravehost.com/SurveyForm.htm

Fall Ball 2007 Mail-In Registration:
Our training & development fall ball season gets underway in early September and runs through early November.  It's a great way to add additional skills, get more experience, learn new positions, and just keep playing baseball.  There is no in-person nor online registration for fall.  It is all done by mail and the form is attached to this email.  Direct any questions to mwlittl...@hotmail.com

Join Us:
Do you have some great ideas about how you'd like to influence the Monroe Woodbury Little League?  Then, why not volunteer to join the Board of Directors!  We are currently accepting applications for the Board, term running from September 2007 through August 2008.  Applicants must submit a letter of intent (email is fine) to the board before August 15, 2007 to be considered for the general election in September.  For further information, contact the league at mwlittl...@hotmail.com
